About The Symposium

Held in person and virtually on October 14, 2023 and supported by the Mildred B. Erickson Distinguished Chair in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education at Michigan State University, this symposium aimed to highlight, advance, and invite dialogue about research on LGBTQIA2S+ issues in higher education. We covered a range of LGBTQIA2S+ topics, including but not limited to scholarly inquiry about students, faculty, administrators, and staff; leadership, organizational theory, administration; policy; campus climate; teaching, learning, pedagogy, and outcomes; and curriculum studies, queer theory, and LGBTQIA2S+/gender studies.

Conference sessions were not recorded, but you can reach out to presenters if you are interested in learning more about their work. Thank you for your interest in LGBTQIA2S+ research in higher education.
